A wintertime full moon climbs above the southern flank of Mount St. Nicholas, located in a remote corner of southeastern Glacier National Park.

The imposing mountain was thought to be unclimbable until the Reverend Conrad Wellen summited in 1926. "St. Nick" is still considered the most difficult climb in the park.
