"Baboquivari Crescent Moonset."
A 6% crescent moon slips behind Baboquivari Peak and the lights of fast-growing Santa Cruz valley, south of Tucson. This is a composite of moon images captured at a 90-second interval, showing the moon's path. (Note, there is a low ridge not visible in this silhouette that's west of the Santa Cruz and blocks any valley floor view of Baboquivari. You have to get above the valley floor to see the sacred mountain.)
